In A Nutshell

Large conflicts are no longer rare events.

Ukraine, the Middle East, and rising tension with China all showed that the peace many of us have taken for granted is not guaranteed anymore. Many governments now see that they are not ready if things get worse. Their armies are smaller than they thought. Their equipment is older than expected. Their stockpiles are thin.

Because of this, everyone needs to rebuild weapons stockpiles. Modern wars burn through ammo, missiles, and drones very fast. What used to last years now gets used in months. That forces governments to order more, and fast. Defense companies are some of the only ones that can deliver at scale.

On top of that, Trump announced that he wants to increase the US military budget by $500 billion by next year, bringing it to about $1.5 trillion. That increase alone would already be larger than the entire defense budget of any other country on earth. It would be the biggest jump in military spending since World War II.

National defense is no longer optional or theoretical. It is now a top priority again.
